I use it almost daily. It has pros and cons vs hpt.

Hpt UI is organized and laid out in such a fashion that it makes it a little easier to figure out the complex ford logic. The hpt vcmscanner is also really well developed and easy to use. The graphing functions and user math are excellent.

Pcmtec has what seems like 10x the parameters available and we’ve uncovered some really useful stuff not possible in hpt. Pcmtec also has a very complete built in tune library so at any moment you can easily compare and see what’s modified. The copy/paste function is way better too. The pcmtec logger has what seems like 100x more parameters available so if there’s some obscure issue you’re trying to drill down into, it can do things not possible in hpt.

To me, the biggest advantage of pcmtec is that it flashes typically in less than 20 seconds and does not require phone home/wifi to open files or initiate a flash. I can pull over on the side of the road, make a change, and in 30 seconds I’m back logging again with not even a hotspot required.
