Hello All, I wasn't sure where to add this post, I have recently learned my PCM is programmed with a Snow Plow Mode. This truck has no controls, no brackets, no snowplow was ever planned or requested when I bought it. I have had it since new. And the worst part is, Ford has spent, hours, days weeks and months trying to dx electrical issues, battery replacements (6) deep heavy duty motocraft and it was never known that this was in snowplow mode. So my questions are in hopes to finding out, is there a way to tell when, how and whom added this snowplow mode? And if it was done at factory, why and has anyone seen odd pcm programming like this before on trucks that are far from this type of mode? however, seems crazy they never knew this all the tests they did??

 

do you have a snowplow button? Theres a snowplow feature that ford offered on 5.0's

Also, what year, model, engine and all that is your truck

 

Hey, thanks for the reply, apologies on the info not listed. I thought it would transfer. So it's a 2014 F150 5.0L FX4, No snowplow controls, no remote buttons, no plow, or anything close. the package never had the snowplow option and Ford says they did not reprogram it to have that so it's become a mystery, how it was updated.
