Omega Tune first impressions - WOW, WOWW!!

Load and Charge
You can get laptops pretty dam cheap these days. I have an old IBM that I got for nothing (was gonna be thrown out) and had Linux installed on it. I leave it in my garage and use it for anything car related. I use it for tuning my GT500 as well as Forscan and other car crap. It comes in handy, was free, I could care less what happens to it and I don’t have to worry about my work ****-canning me over some stupid accidental discovery of policy violations... Honestly, if your work issues you laptops I bet they have a room full of old, “outdated” computers somewhere that someone might just give you if you ask the right person. I know my work does and we don’t even have that many in circulation. I have a drawer in my office with 4 parts laptops and our boiler room has probably a dozen or so old desk tops sitting in it. Can’t hurt to ask one of your IT guys if they have anything old laying around.

So I'm at a crossroad with my 10 speed transmission. I HATE the way it shifts and responds to the throttle in the lower gears. Higher gears are awesome and on the highway it awesome. In town I hate everything about it. Will the Omega tune correct this? I love the truck, got a lot invested in it, but the driving experience is making me hate it. I don't need to burn up the tires and blow everybody off the road. I just want better shifting, smoother shifting. Everything is stock except 2" level and 33" tires on 18's. Do you think Ken and the Omega Tune would help me love my truck again?

Well, the Omega delivered. I was a little lighter than my first outing on the stock tune, but the air wasn’t nearly as good.
Stock tune went 14.6@96 MPH. Omega Tuned went 13.59@101 MPH.
I’ll take it. I may try to best that on a crisp fall day, but I’m pretty much good with how it runs now.

Surprised There's Not More H8
Just tried Omega after having issues with 5* tunes. Liking it a lot more so far. Not saying it was 5*'s fault, but my tranny had to be rebuilt shortly (a couple months maybe) after loading their tune with a BDX. Had it dyno'd a few times, and it never made a difference on any fuel. After the transmission was destroyed, I wrote it off as a loss and was too worried to damage anything else. Many months later, 5*'s customer service helped me out on getting an ngauge. Pretty sure it worked this time, as my 18 screw 4x4 with some weight added got a 5.72 second 0-60 on e85. Still, had weird throttle issues. Finally paid more to get the Omega, and its putting down 6.05 on 93 against 5*'s 6.24. About to run the tank dry, so I am excited to see what it will do on e85. It drives a lot easier and smoother, but I honestly don't like it not skipping gears. Feels strange.
