In that driver screen shot, it looks like you just have to look under "Comm Port" and pull the list box down by "Name" and try each of the COM ports until you find the one that works with the software.

Fyi in the 2009-14 section, there is a stickie note at the top discussing Forscan.
As I recall it is from some of the members here that helped us learn how to use Forscan.
Also I'm pretty sure you can ask questions on the Forscan site if needed.

I...
1) received the cable,
2) installed FORScan on the laptop,
3) got the extended license.

Tested last night and saved the log and configuration. Now on to bigger and better things, like looking at the real-time data while driving. No codes on any module, BTW. Thanks to all.
