I was reading a couple reviews on different mounts, its after you take it off, leaves a remnant. Might have just been the cheapie one they used.
BTW, clean the window mounting area and suction cup face with isopropyl alcohol before mounting. |

[QUOTE=BadCon;6160667]I bought one, figured I’d share my thoughts.
I ordered the basic black pod for my XL truck, and it came after about two weeks. Quality is good, you can tell it’s painted, and the finish isn’t perfect, but once installed it should look fine. It uses sticky pads to hold the gauge pod, and for my application that might prove troublesome....as I have a heavy SCT GTX, and it’ll probably pop out and I’ll need to add more sticky tape in the future. Its expensive, but perfect for my intended use. It places my GTX well within reach, with a clear view. Here is hoping it holds up. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...359cda152.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.f15...d474359e7.jpeg where can I order this pod from. Thanks Linn |
They are sold through facebook, just search for Block8head Custom vent pod. The direct link is the first post in this thread. I do not use facebook, and went through their website to send an email. Took a few weeks from payment to delivery.
