Not in person, but see his stuff on some of the FB Groups I am in. I like the idea, but really don't love the nguage... so wonder if there are better options in the same form factor that would fit that pod.

Gotcha... I thought I saw folks complaining about the font and display clarity... maybe it was just old dudes like me that can't see for crap worrying about it. Didn't @OCMike have some of the Banks Dashpaq stuff? I wonder what ended up with it, if he liked it etc.

Its the best of what is available is like saying its better to die from falling then to die in a fire...you're still dead, and the nGuage is still trash. Its a ****ty device, and if a gauge is what you are after I'd get just that....a gauge. That pod looks like it would accept any standard gauge, so that's a plus.

True

It shows pids, makes logs with a quick tap (of common pids), and flashes hptuners files.

From the stand point of what it does, nothing else comes close.

It also is the only stand alone flashing hptuners capable device without a laptop.

Its sh!tty but it’s the best of what’s available.

Well I just ordered that pod. I plan on using my Banks gauge with it. Based on the FB page and another post, it looks like it will take any 52mm gauge.

$147 shipped is what he is asking for it.

Silver and black'ish. I ordered the black'ish one.

He sent me this picture so I could make sure he had what I needed.

I bought one, figured I’d share my thoughts.

I ordered the basic black pod for my XL truck, and it came after about two weeks. Quality is good, you can tell it’s painted, and the finish isn’t perfect, but once installed it should look fine. It uses sticky pads to hold the gauge pod, and for my application that might prove troublesome....as I have a heavy SCT GTX, and it’ll probably pop out and I’ll need to add more sticky tape in the future.

Its expensive, but perfect for my intended use. It places my GTX well within reach, with a clear view. Here is hoping it holds up.
