Default Methanol question

I recently installed an AEM weather methanol kit on my 2013 F150 with a Roush stage 2 supercharger 5.0 liter motor. I have a custom tune from VMP and they are kind of hard to get in touch with so I’m asking you guys. After installing the kit and tune I drove about 25 miles and the methanol reservoir was completely empty. I’m running the middle nozzle that comes with the kit and the controller is set at the lowest psi setting, 1 psi and 5 psi. It doesn’t seem like it gave me anymore power and after shutting off the the truck it took about 30 to 45 seconds for the engine to start back up. It seemed like it was flooded and had a hard time starting. What should I do? I was thinking about changing the nozzle to the smaller one and changing the controller settings to 5 psi and 10 psi and getting a 10 gallon reservoir

Why did you set it so low? With a positive displacement supercharger you're going to essentially see 1 psi like barely touching the throttle and 5 psi at light throttle inputs... You need to set it to come on partially at 8 psi and ramp to 12 or whatever it has there.

I'm not familiar with the settings on the AEM for how it ramps so forgive me if that's not a setting but, you do not need methanol injection unless you're giving it heavy throttle.

If your option is 1 and 5 or 5 and 10 or 10 and 15, i'd use 5 and 10 but that still will use a lot of methanol.

Did VMP tune for the addition of methanol?

If it emptied the res that fast pull the nozzles and make same sure they’re not leaking into the intake or doing something weird.

VMP told me to set the controller on those settings and I even asked them about it being the lowest settings on the controller and they said to run it at those set points. My controller has a start psi of 1 to 10 and a full psi of 5 to 35.

Is their also a WOT switch so it only sprays when commanding full power?

They're based on boost from what i've seen, don't think there's a WOT switch. Because you can build boost outside WOT.

Where is the tank located, where are the lines run from tank to injection point. Where is the injector attached at.
