Default Injectors

So my 91 f150 was missing bad and I replaced the injectors. When I did I went with the 120cc super injectors. Now my truck is running rich and shooting flames out the exhaust occasionally. Any advice on my next step? I know there's a lot of possibilities so help to narrow it down. The obd 1 reader in the truck doesn't pick up a signal on the code reader either?

If you upsized the injectors without calibrating the EFI system, then that explains your rich condition. The current injector duty cycle is probably calibrated for a smaller injector, not one that flows as much as what you are now using.

I am trying to reset efi system but the obd1 plug won't pick up the reader. But yes that and replace the egr valve that isn't working right. Thanks for confirming my thoughts
