Okay so i apologize in advance as this is gonna be a long post. I got a bully dog BDX been running the 93 octane canned tune for like 6 months. Decided to order a few tunes from 5 Star, got my tune sent to me via the cloud. Went out to my truck returned it to stock and updated the BDX. Went back to truck to load the tune. It loaded 100% and was clearing DTC and then threw a common error code 110B8 and made me reload the stock tune. So I found out that if the battery voltage gets to low this can happen so I hooked jumper cables to my truck and the wife’s car like you would to jump and tried to load the tune, I got the 110B8 code yet again and had to go back to stock. So I got the ol battery charger out and tried again this time I got a different code general error code 110D8 and made me go back to stock. So I decided to factory reset the BDX and try again with the charger hooked up. Got the same damn 110D8 code again and had to go back to stock. I have contacted 5 Star and bully dog and they are stumped. Bully dog said that they are gonna send me a recovery tune to load and then try to load the custom tune. They said if that doesn’t work I’ll have to send my device in so they can fix it. So my question is has anyone else here experienced these issues and if you did how were they fixed.
