Default Another 17” Drag Pack Setup

I haven’t been able to race it yet, but here’s a drag pack option with a taller tire that’s closer to stock heights.

17” Black Rhino Kaizen 17x9.5
Mickey Thompson ET Street R 315/55R17

This is a 30.6” calculated diameter compared to the stock 275/55R20 which is 31.9” or my current 305/50R20 which is 32”.

Weight is 65lbs per wheel and tire, vs 79lbs for the 305s mounted on the stock 20” wheels.

Im impressed that the 305's were that light. My OE 20's with 275/60's were 91.5 lbs a piece. I ended up going to 315/70R17's on VenomRex wheels and they were only a lb more

Yeah and if I remember correctly, the factory 275/55 Hankooks were even lighter; like 75 lbs maybe.

I have poor's budget drag pack of stock 17s with 275/55r17 General Grabber UHPs. Definitely wouldn't hold up to Whipple power though, they honestly kind of suck. But it's like 55lbs/corner and 29" tall

LOL, it’s incredible how light they can get.
