Anybody swamped their 5.4 for a 4.6? What do you need?

Swamped or swapped?Why go backwards going from a 5.4 to a 4.6 you will be losing torque and that's what you want for a heavy truck!!

4.6 is more reliable.

Maybe but you're still going backwards Horsepower and Torque wise!! IMO if it's a nice truck and you don't mind spending some money maybe look into a 7.3 Godzilla swap!! You might be able to use your same transmission with the 7.3 but not sure!!
