so my original gears were 3.15 so it's a very big jump anyway. I guess I don't know what I am supposed to see. if your near that range then maybe it is normal? 🤔
I also reflashed like you said, unfortunately i wont be able to test until i have more time.

Just spend $200 and get a custom tune and get your shift points dialed.

@sumbumm After a proper tune, I am interested to know how the ecoboost handles those gears! Please report back. I am making the large ASSumption that you did this for performance.

I will for sure report back. as of right now the spool is still pretty quick and I'm getting up to 18 psi still.

Well i just went thru the same scenario on the noise thing. It took the 3rd set of gears to get the noise sorted out. First of all my guess is that you have a bad set of gears that were not properly lapped in when they were made. As for the shifting into overdrive that soon I have no answer. My gear guy has been professionally setting up gears for over 40 years. There has been alot of outsourcing for gears now and the quality control has went to hell in a hand basket. FWIW there is no way you will be able to duplicate the sound by spinning the tire by hand.

I really hope that's not what my issue is. I was just told that there's a chance I didn't torque correctly and either I didn't get to my crush ring or I over torqued and made it too tight

Grr. I was really hoping you would not say that as I was looking at Yukon. Maybe Richmond would be a good starting point....

Anything made in America anymore?
