I got a free cat under warranty, which was a surprise. It will be on the shelf for the future owner when I get my SPD Y-pipes on…

Your tuner can add a load limiter, a valet mode if you will. There’s an easier way on the Whipple os.

It's why I want to do it. I just hate how long they like hanging onto my truck. Will install the big pulley first though. Are those the pipes with the alpha cats or whatever? We don't do any state or emissions checks here so I am fine catless. All my other vehicles have errm "free flowing exhaust" as well. lol.

I assumed that's what you were saying. I am almost positive Oz tune is built on the Whipple tune and refined from there. I know he has been requesting HPT to add tables to it in the previous months to improve the shifting quality even more. I know Ken B from PBD does the same thing.

.
I bought last gen SPD Y pipes, and an MBRP resonator from a 2020 to adapt it to fit.

Are the 28 x 10.5 Hoosiers on your 17" wheels hooking good. Looking at some OEM 17"s for mine. Also have truetrac on order and will be installing JD pumps, and smaller upper pulley.
I just want to make sure I have enough meat on truck to handle upgrades.

Hell yeah they do. These were my last 2 hits on the street. Same road on two different days. Unprepped asphalt surface....no burnout and keep in mind I only run 2 of them, not 4 like MOST people do. Have gone low 1.5s at the track without trying too hard.

Cool, really no need for a 10" wide wheel then. Your also still running open differential too. I will go with the same or maybe MT's depending on best deal.
(edit)
I just looked the tires up and they are a smooth tire, no treads. Do you drive to track with them on or install them when you get there. I may opt for a street strip radial instead. I just need to figure out which tire hooks the best in that category.
Also noticed the Hoosiers call out for minimum 9" wide wheel. Do they fit okay on the 7.5" wheels?
