Did the headers not come with the extensions?
Yes it did but they plugs changed from the 2017 to the 2018 and SW did not know that so they shipped extensions for the 2017. When I called them about it they were not aware of the change and after a couple of weeks they said that they could not source the plugs to make extensions. I guess I was the first or one of the first to install them on a 2018 because when I called the tech and their engineers were not aware of the change.

For Black Friday Lethal Performance has Stainless Works headers with catted Y Pipe on sale with 20% that gets the cost down to $1515 for the factory connect. Seems like a pretty good deal.

EDIT: I see Beefcake Racing has the same deal. It seems like someone commented they are really good to deal with. Everything is drop shipped for the manufacture anyway so where you buy from isn't that important I suppose.

I'm going have to do some custom work anyway because the truck is a RC anyway. The X-pipe on the performance connect looks to be too long so I'll have to make up a custom X-Pipe with dual resonators into a dual mode muffler.

Any drawbacks to the Stainless works other then extending the O2 sensor?

Mike

If you can help it, Try to use the stock studs and nuts.

I did the install of my kooks on jack stands in my garage which didn’t allow me to use the studs...

I used stage 8 bolts and locks and the locks and c clips cause false knock randomly, that kills power randomly.
