Is this because of the Raptor's weight?

I imagine it is including the weight and size of the tires. I actually thought the Raptor would win so was a little surprised in the results.

I suspect weight, 4.10s and 37lb wheels plus heavy *** tires all help. The 4.10s prob make the turbos spool a tad slower.

Now run a RCSB 5.0 against the Raptor!

Interesting. Mine is the 2017 with the 3.5EB ... We will assume it is the same (and it is even red!!)

It's the weight of the wheels and tires. I know the 20" rims and 285/55/20's on my truck weight in at 105lbs each. My tires alone are 22lbs heavier than my stock tires. Stock rims were also 20's. I felt a difference in power as soon as I went with the larger off road tires.

Once I'm at highway speeds, I don't notice any difference, but it takes more to get going from a stop.

Put street tires in the Raptor, or off road tires on the Ecoboost truck, and I think the Raptor would win.

I'd like to see a new 5.0 w/10 speed vs a Raptor. I think that Raptor would win that one.

Raptor would win easy, they're racing at about 6k in elevation, the turbos matter! VS a 5.0

LOL, yes interesting. I've got the same truck in SCab. Well, next week, I should have my 93PRX tune, and my Borla exhaust. Think I'll go Raptor hunting!!!Also running 275/55/20's.

In sport mode, a 2018 2.7L would destroy either truck in a short race.
