I know what the article says. If its anything like past roush/ford warranties, that does not mean what you think it means.

This is still unclear at the moment, but I will be finding out soon. I am potentially ordering a 2018 F150 5.0 with the Ford performance supercharger kit installed from a local Ford dealer here that builds the LFP 670 AND 727 Mustangs. I'm awaiting a call from their performance department soon to talk through the details.

The 670 hp phase 1 mustangs have a full 3 year 36k mile warranty. The 727 hp phase 2 mustangs ha e a 3 year 36k miles parts only limited warranty.

My assumption, is that this will be very similar or exactly the same for the 2018's.

I was looking at the Ford Performance kits. That aint a bad deal with the warranty but my guess is its a bit less power than the Whipple. I assume the 670 is crank, vs 650RWHP for the whipple.

Historically, the roush powertrain warranty is a $1000 option that carries $10,000 in coverage. Whipple offers a powertrain warranty as well.

What does the Roush have to do with the 2018 5.0 whipple supercharged numbers? If you wanted to talk about the Roush it would have been better to start a new thread rather than to derail this one with non-relevant information.

The topic of the thread isn't alternatives to the Whipple. The topic is 2018 5.0 whipple supercharged numbers. Is it really that hard to keep a thread on topic. This is no different than when there is a thread where people are talking about a certain engine and then someone comes in to interject another engine that has absolutely nothing to do with topic.
