Just stupid things like putting the blower pulley on but then you have to take it off to put the idler plate on...won’t fit otherwise. Hoses not labeled worth a damn...wound just test fitting and figuring out most of those. My heat exchanger has one 5/8 hose barb instead of the 3/4 it should have...had to rig up a reducer and get some 5/8” hose to make it work. New IC pump barely fits the bracket...it’s much shorter. Several hoses and electrical connections that could have been made before the blower was set into place then had to be made under the blower snout later. Plus a ton more fun things we figured out as we went.
I’m up and running but I’m done with it this week. I have something weird happening...possibly the TB electronics. I’ll dive in again this weekend.

The 15-17 instruction they had you move the OE Throttle body motor to the Whipple TB..Maybe I missed it but I saw no mention of that on the 2018 instructions.

That’s what I had to do...no clue on the 18 kits. Not sure that’s my issue yet...just a possibility as we narrow it down.

Well from emails to them their instructions are wrong about something else too. Instructions say the kits are based off 600hp and if you want 624 to 640 you need a fuel booster and over 670 you need bigger injectors in emails they told me that the kits come with the required injectors.

Whoever writes their manual does have an issue with attention to detail. This is the cover of the 2018 manual I just downloaded from their site.

Note: The year is wrong on the last update.....(I hope)

In all fairness, I don't see ecoboost on the door and whipple recommends running the ecoboost lower grill with their kit.
