I stopped bothering them about it. It will take multiple customers complaining to get it resolved.

Whipple saysthe 1-2 portion of the tune is stock, they need to look at the 1-3 trigger points... If it doesn't know which gear to go into 1-2 or 1-3 what does it do.
good luck getting those douche bags to admit anything is wrong with their product.

So far I have increased the around town fuel economy by 3mpg

I will test the shift points tomorrow if the weather permits.
Test #1 complete: truck is shifting as commanded

Once you get those on I’m gonna have to meet up with you and listen to it. I want LT’s but I’m not sure how much noise I’m willing to live with.

That's why I'm keeping the stock cat back and going with kooks green cats.

A little more noise I can live with, a lot more and I'm out.

Reached out to my dealership about the transmission. Told me to swing by when I have time so I can show him what its doing and they can work on a fix. Agreed with me that its the tuning.

whipple says the tested and never felt the issue, but they have 3.55 gears in there trucks and the lower gearing might pass right over the 1-2 shift and go straight to the 1-3 shift.

if you just accelerate faster it never happens. But the areas I drive you drive really slow with lots of stop signs.

in the real world the only place I experience it is parking lots.

Crazy loud it right but it is more the drone from 45-60 that bothers me. At WOT it wakes the dead but I don't have a problem with that. I think it is more the hi-flow cats that cause the sound than anything, well that and the full SW kit I have have has no resonators. I still need to get to a good exhaust shop in Dallas or Houston and have them install a couple of resonators.

The best part of the long tubes is the low even rhythmic sound that they make.
