I'm just going to see how the standard Whipple tune works out. It will be a few weeks before I do the install and I have a few appearance things I want to do first, plus I wanted to wait till I had at least 1000 miles on the truck before I put it on a dyno and got some base line stock numbers , I'm at about 600 now.

I’m in the middle of installing mine. Just installed the intake manifold and and filled the supercharger with oil today before stopping for the evening. I will need a custom tune since I have long tubes and high flow cats. Thinking abaout ID Motorsports for the tune.

I can’t recommend them enough. Mine is an animal and Matt worked his *** off to make it perfect after all of Whipples issues I had to work out. I’ll tell y’all now...jump on Amazon and order Gates K060910HD to replace the belt they send. Mine was already slipping...replaced it today and found my 13psi.
They’re like 24 bucks.

See if Gates makes that size in their Blue race series belts.

These apparently work fine...I’ve come to learn damn near every PD blower car around is running them.

whipple says their tune with long tubes and high flow cats works fine.

But I’m sure id’s tune would be great.

I ordered the Stage 2 full kit today. I got a killer deal. They let me put my order in early even though the sale is Monday only 4/2.

I'm not really sure what the difference is between the Stage 1 and Stage 2. I see they fixed the stage 2 web page and took off the heat exchanger fans.

The Stage 2 doesn't show the big TB as an option so perhaps that's the difference? I don't see the big TB listed as an option on the stage 1.

LP credited me the $400 from the fans towards the sale price of a Magnaflow exhaust. With the points from the SC I ended up with rear split side exit cat back for under $300. It came with polished tips which I took yesterday to be coated matte black.

According to Whipple's site the Stage1 uses the stock 80mm throttle body with a bigger TB as an option. The Stage2 come with a bigger elliptical 132mm TB. I don't know if the pulley is smaller on the Stage2. Their site says the Stage1 is 725hp and the Stage2 is 775hp. I think there is another TB that is bigger than the 132mm. I got the same deal as Lethal offered a few weeks ago at a 15% discount as a Easter sale..

Thanks for the tip. The part number Richard posted is for the 2015-2017 Whipple. The part number for the 2018 Whipple is K060956HD just so there isn’t any confusion. I ordered two for just in case.
