  • Do you mind taking a quick photo of your 18 connector?
Here you go sir - I took pics of both the 16 pin connector and the 4 pin connector as I wasn't sure which one you were referring to.

The 16 pin connector is populated as follows:
Top Row (as seen in pic) - Brown Green Empty Grey Red Yellow White Empty
Bottom Row (as seen in pic) - Red Yellow Empty White Pink Brown Green Empty

I couldn't find numbers on this connector that's why I had to refer to them as "top row" and "bottom row"

The 4 pin connector is populated as follows: 1. Red 2. Blue 3. Empty 4. Black

My assumption is that he is updating his 2016 with a 2018 front end, not just the lights. However you are definitely correct, these 2018+ lights will not fit in his current 2016 front end.

That is correct, I have already purchased a 2018 grill, and am searching for a bumper and bumper fascia.

I appreciate the effort and photos! It appears that these connectors plug into the ballasts though, correct? I was wondering about the wiring harness coming from the truck not the ballasts. Perhaps it was confusing when I mentioned that the 16 ballasts are the same as 18.

I am on a business trip at the moment, so I’m not by my truck to confirm, but may I ask if the connectors that you photographed plug into the ballasts or do they plug into the trucks wiring harness.

Also, a shipping quote to 28117.

Correct - the plugs I photographed above plug into the ballasts. Here is a picture of the receptacle on the light that the truck wiring harness plugs into, it appears to be a 16 pin connection and the receptacle has pins in positions 1 through 4 and 6 through 8

Also, per the FedEx website fully insured shipping to your zip code would be $174.66
