FS: 2015 8" MFT Sync 2/NAV, compatible camera module
I upgraded to Sync 3. I am selling my 2015 Sync 2 APIM with navigation, the USB/LineIN/SD card reader module and A7 map card. $400 shipped to ContUS48. It has FORScan modifications to include the Quad screen with Radio/Phone/Nav/Climate screens. I can change it any way you need/want it before shipping, or restore to factory defaults. No side brackets included. If you are replacing an existing APIM you can re-use your brackets. If you are upgrading from a 4" screen, I can find out the p/n you would need for brackets.
Also FS is a Sync 2 compatible camera module. It is plug and play and works with OEM rear camera. I ran it with the above system with a front camera and side cameras that came on with the signal lights. All views are on the Sync 2 screen. It has 4 camera RCA inputs, so you can add a third brake light cam or a trailer cam. Cameras are not included. You can get good cameras from Camera-Source, which is where this system came from, or use your camera(s) with RCA connection. Comes with complete instructions, and can also provide support help if needed. They sell this new for over $300. I am listing it for $150 shipped. Will offer a package deal with the Sync 2 above, both for $500 shipped, contUS48.
I'd be replacing a 4" screen with this. I have the factory backup camera and Sirius. Besides this, I know I need the bezel, GPS antenna, and I would need the brackets. Is there a wiring harness change required to use this? Also, would I need the camera adapter you have or, since I only have one camera, will it plug and play?
You won't need the camera module if you only have the factory rear camera. The module is to add other cameras. I'm not sure on the harness to go from the 4" to the 8" but I can find out.
I found out a bit more info for a 4" to 8" upgrade. Of course you would need the brackets, but I've been told they aren't sold separately from Ford, so might have to modify your existing brackets. The GPS antenna from the IPC should still work. You would need a special harness to go from the 4" to 8". A member on here custom builds them.
