Default Z36 Brake Kit Issues?

I just got my z36 Power Stop brake kit in and noticed the left and right rotors look like they have a completely different coating on them. You can peel it off with your fingers. The manufacturer states they are ok and nothing wrong. What do you think? Would you demand replacements or put them on and hope for the best? The rears are the same way, just not as noticeable.

Well 130 people looked at this post and no one commented on it so I am assuming no one else had these issues. I will ask for a replacement on the rotors and hope the next ones are better.

passenger side looks like it was cleaned with brake cleaner and driver side looks oiled to prevent rust.
i use centric premium that are cut and drilled locally to me.

edit clean it with brake cleaner and see how it looks. they should all be cleaned before install and again before putting the pads on.

I put this same kit on my 2006 F150 about 2 months ago.

All my rotors looked the same, and nothing was "peeling" off them. Looks strange to me...............

I am having them replaced. Cleaning them did nothing. I was mainly worried that they didn't go through the same heat treating process maybe..? I wasn't too sure of the drilled / slotted features to begin with, but with all the great reviews I thought I would give them a chance.

Good braking and getting rid of the brake vibration was obviously the main goal but I am really hoping they help with the rust spots I keep getting on the rear quarter and tailgate. Treated it multiple times with iron x and wax and keeps coming back.
