Yet another RABS question

good deal, you already found one fault, the fluid level sensor, now we can move forward with diagnostics.
I'm 95% certain the rabs valve is bad but there are a few tests to make sure.
What is the build date of your truck, should be on a sticker on the drivers door or door jamb.

Get a paper clip or small jumper wire and jumper the two colored wires (not the black one) that go to the master cylinder fluid level sensor and see if both brake warning lights go off and stay off. If not then we move on to testing the harness.

Something else I noted tht may or may not mean anything. The red "brake" light dims a bit but does not go out when I release the emergency brake. I've assumed that's because it is only being powered by one source once the E-brake is released.

Ok you need to access the rabs module behind the instrument panel near the radio. the trim panel around the radio should be attached with spring like fasteners and a quick yank should get that panel off, after that remove the radio and see if you can access the module. Below in red is the location and the connector face view.
If you can't get to it so you can unplug it you may need to remove the trim panel surrounding the cluster. Save those so you can print full page.

OK, I have the trim panel off and radio out. What I'm seeing is the metal slide the radio hangs on, the plastic framework of thedash itself and behind that the black plastic of the AC/heater ducting. I don't see any kind of module. Lets say I'm looking directly at where the rear of the radio hangs from the metal slide. Where in relation to that point would the module be?

It's going to be Thursday before I can get to that. SWMBO has me in the middle of a master bath remodel.

Then it looks to be more or less above and behind the right center black AC/heater duct. Gotta pull the larger IP surround to get to that. The right side is held in place by screws. Am I correct that the left side around the IP itself is held in place by spring clips like hold the radio surround in place?
