2012 F150 Harley Davidson Edition 6.2L

Maybe it's the way I'm starting my truck or maybe it's something else. . . . . . . . . . . The driver side window doesn't always work. But all others do. . . . . . .THAYS NOT IT YET!!Sometimes it's the passenger window that won't operate AND sometimes it's one of the other 4 windows! This is isn't just the drivers door switch either. If the passenger window doesn't work it won't work with either that doors switch nor drivers switch. It's mainly the drivers window that does this but I'm the only one in the truck 95% of the time.now with that said, who's got the answer to help me figure this out because the ford dealerships around me have absolutely no clue.​​​​​​​

 

When strange electrical problems arise its usually a bad ground. You likely have two or three grounds behind the foot level kick panels on both the passenger and driver's side. Window problems also occur due to partially broken wires (intermittent continuity) in the door jam area and you have to pull back the flexible cover to inspect. Lastly the switches may be failing.

 

OneJob,It’s been a few days since you last posted. Have you resolved this issue and if so, please post the solution? Feedback is important so that we all learn solution paths to these issues.

Weekend is over and my truck is still in pieces still going through wiring harnesses!

 

After ripping my truck apart this is what I've found.

There is nothing wrong with any wires!!! THANK GOD!!!!!!!

The issue was the battery I purchased was bad! So I replaced the battery and reset the BMS. All windows are fully functional and no weird crap happening. I never thought of even looking at the battery again because I've never purchased a bad battery from a reliable part store!
