When is it time to throw in the towel?
I've had my 1994 F-150 XLT for less than a year. I bought it knowing that it would need some work but it actually ran really well for through the winter.
This summer the power steering went out. While investigating this I also discovered a leak in the rear brake line.
The oil pan has leaked as long as I've owned it. I just keep putting oil in every couple weeks, as needed.
The rear brakes are locked and the second gas tank has a leak.
I wish I had time and money to tackle these problems. I'm sure I could fix most of them myself. Time and money. Don't we all need more?
The truck runs otherwise. The AC is great and it starts every time.
So my question. What would be a better path? Scrap the truck and hope to get something better or fix whats wrong and hope for the best?
I don't have another vehicle though maybe that would be the best choice while I work on the truck.
What should I do?
