Default What to change/check?

I recently acquired a 2017 5.0 with 55,000 miles. The truck was a work truck someplace in Canada. I have no idea what maintenance, if any, has been done. Truck runs and drives perfectly. The oil has been changed, and I plan on changing front/rear differential and transfer case fluids. What else should I look at or do? Anything with the tranny? Spark plugs? Thanks for any help.

Manual shows you required maintenance. Plugs at 100,000 miles. Oil, filters, visual inspections until then.

Ya, I’ve read through the manual. I was just wondering if there was anything in particular I should do, not knowing how the truck was used. It could have been driven extremely hard.

I would replace the plugs at 60k and wouldn't wait till 100k and then have to struggle to get them out.

A complete tune up is never a bad idea. Check all your fluids. Check serpentine belt. Brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid. Changing the transmission filter won’t hurt either. Just make sure you refill the correct amount of fluid. Check the brake pads and rotors. Make sure all the exterior lights work. Check wiper blades. Do an undercarriage inspection. I’m sure it’ll have rust. Do a suspension shake down. Check u-joints and cv axles

If you really want to see how the truck was previously handled you could buy a cheap borescope from Amazon and look inside the cylinders when you change the plugs.
