I was driving and I went to make a turn and after the turn the wheel starts shaking back and forth and the truck woobles and pulls to the left alittle. anyone know what the issue would be? recently got my front brake pads changed and the rotors looked bad but I wasn't in the place to go get new ones, maybe that's the cause?

 

Sounds like the caliper(s) may be locking up. Common problem with a high mileage vehicle after changing brake pads.

Notice a weird burning smell?

Not particularly but I haven't really been driving it since this happend, but that would make since this was one (only one) of my brakes when the pads got changed

 

okay so little update turns out I was infact missing 2/5 lugnuts on the drivers side front wheel they seemed to have snapped off when I made that left turn :S


Went and got the new studs and lug nuts but before I left I checked the last 3 and two were loose to the point where I could take them off by hand
