Ok so I've been having a very strange issue with the 2008 5.4l screw the past couple of days. I recently got a wifi obd2 scanner. Paired it to my phone and read the data with the Torque app on my phone. Thought it was pretty neat. Had a code stored (P1000 I think) and I cleared it. Unhooked everything and took it for a drive.

My 4wd H/L lights flash 3 times every 2 min or so on the first trip. Shut the car off. Drove it home after about 3 hours, no flashing lights at all.

Today, I took it to the store. Headlights didn't work. Hi-beams, fogs, nothing. Pulled into my garage and twisted the headlight **** a few times, then the lights all suddenly worked.

WTF.....never had a car/truck do this. I'm thinking maybe I jacked something up when I cleared the code?
