I have some new coils that were spares for my 03 Escape Would they work ok.

It doesn't appear so. RockAuto lists the 2003 Escape coils for the 2.0 L4 engine as part # DG513 (Motorcraft). The 2004 F150 5.4 coils are part # DG511 (Motorcraft). They might be close but they are not the same.

The hole for the screw is in the wrong position and the rubber boot is different in length. So cut the tab and swap sleeves. Wondering if output is the same.
