F150 4X4 Lariat, 5.4L I have a cable that has cut and have no idea what it does. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Truck is still running fine. Thanks.

This connector has snapped off and sends the lead under the transmission.


This end of the cable connects to different locations under the passenger side window

 

Looks like vacuum lines, for various 4x4 functions.

 

The cables are electrical, (not air) As a side note, the ABS light has been on since I noticed this broken cable but I am not sure if it is related.

 

Those are vacuum lines, according to the one picture with that main connection, they go to what looks like the 4x4 control solenoids. Someone else can chime in if i am wrong, hook the back up and see what happens.
