Default Turn Signal Issues

Fellow Ford Truck owners been have issues with my turn signal sometimes they work, they will work and quit or they won't work at all. Done some research and talked to a few people say it is the muti function switch. Thought I would ask the experts on here. Any help I would be very thankful for. 2000 F-150 Harley Edition.

if you tilt your steering wheel all the way down do they not work at all? and then if you tilt it all the way up do they work? mine only work when the steering wheels all the way up... i've just been too lazy to repair the multi switch.

I had the same issue, I ended up replacing all the bulbs and the relay with no results. I finally figured out that the steering wheel was tilted all the way down, causing a loss of contact in the steering column. Tilt your wheel up a few notches and the issue should go away. You just have to fiddle with it until you find the right spot and the lights work.

Just undo the trim covering ur steering column and see if a wire may be loose.its a real quick and simple check. Those wires arent very long and can sometimes come out after the steering wheel has been tilted up and down for so long
