Hello All,

I'm new to the EcoBoost, so please bear with my question.
Having owned several turbo Diesels, I have always installed aftermarket turbo timers to cool the oil down after long pulls, so turbo bearings don't get fried. I have not read or found where anyone has installed one on an Eco??
is that not a concern on these motors???

The turbos are are also cooled by coolant from the engine along with cooling and lubrication from engine oil.

Maybe if you we're towing a heavy trailer for awhile then came to a stop, then I'd maybe let the truck idle for a minute or two before shutting it down
