Default Transmission Shutter

Threw a check engine light yesterday and had Autozone check it out. Came back with 3 codes that seemed to all be related to either low transmission fluid, cam shaft sensors, timing or internal transmission problem. My truck seems to hesitate while in first gear and then at times won't go past 3rd gear.

I took it to the stealership this morning. They came back and said they weren't sure what the exact cause was and quoted me at 3k+ to tear the transmission apart to dig deeper and even then they weren't sure if that would fix everything

I'm thinking this is being caused by bad cam shaft sensors. Has anyone else experienced something similar to this and how did you fix it? Trying to eliminate the cheaper possibilities before bending over for the Ford Techs.
