This post is for information regarding my recent transmission failure. Last week I was doing normal driving and at around 30 mph I lost power and the rpms shot up. I thought I had bumped the shifter into neutral. When I got to the next stop light I started moving and at 15 mph I could not go any faster with the same thing happening with the rpms. After some lengthy research on here I changed out the 2 side speed sensors to no avail. Took it to the tranny place and found the forward gear was shot. My mechanic showed me the part and it had cracked near the gear teeth not allowing it shift into second. I'll post the repair bill if I can figure out how.
