Post transmission????

i have a 95 f150 with a 5.0 liter/automatic trans with overdrive. will run fine till it warms up a little bit then when you take off the engine bogs down almost like if you were trying to go up hill in high gear, then it will take hold and go till you come to a stop again. im at a lost on this never had anything act like this.

When you say take hold and go you mean when it gets to a certain rpm it wants to start to accelerate better? You got to describe it a little better bro. When your at a dead stop you hit the gas and it is slow to excelerate untill you get to a certain rpm and then it opens up and runs better or what? Just trying to help here. Oh and I'm not 100% sure but does that one still have a distributor or a coil pack ignition system? It is a 95 don't mean it's not an obd2 system. I've had a 95 4.6 coil pack obd2 tbird.

its like you trying to brake torque it when you when you want to take off ..wont gain any rpm ...it has the eec connector under the hood and not the obdII connector under the dash..it has a distributor

Check fuel pressure, engine running at idle, open throttle suddenly, eng. should immediately rev up, pressure should NOT drop significantly, or stay below idle pressure.

If it does, the eng. may be starving for fuel: partially clogged/intermittently clogging, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator faulty, or fuel pump itself gasping it's last spurts..... (like me!).

at idle engine will rev up at wot and when cold it will spin the tires when you floor it it just acts up once it warms up a little and only while in gear in park or neutral engine will rev up at wot. and not sure what the fuel pressure is

Oxygen sensors man. Cold start runs great? Warms up runs ****ty? O2 sensors. Cold start up is open loop so no fuel control. Closed loop warmed up fuel control. They are probably getting lazy and tired.

Honestly idk what it would do I've never done that lol. That's something you can try but it might go into limp home mode and only give you 200-300 Rpms to play with. But that really does sound like your problem. I had a tbird same symptoms but when they warmed up It went into limp home and I only had 15mph tops so I parked at a buddies place and had my dad snag me some o2 sensors from the parts store. Hooked them up run like a champ. If you do decide to do them unplug the battery of course and install them. Turn the key on don't start right away leave it in the on position for about 30sec- 1 minute. Then fire it up.
