Default Transfer Case Question

Hi all, I have a 2006 F-150 4x4 V8 4.6 L, today I was having problems with the speedometer going up to around 30mph while in neutral. after looking around looks like someone bump my 4x4 stick on the floor to the neutral position and was not locked into 2 wheel, after I got it back into 2wheel it was acting normal again, so my question..is this normal for the truck to act like its moving while my 4x4 is in neutral it gets up to about 25 - 30 mph but not really moving and the mileage is even counting up like I am really driving lol....also the truck started to roll down the drive way while in park..thanks all

Is this a real ? of course it will roll down hill, it is in neutral. As for the speedo. trans is turning if in gear and running, I don't know where the speedo pick up is but if its in the trans and not on the transfer case then it would be normal.
Note even withe the trans in neutral it will still turn withe engine running and the transfe.r case in neutral
