Default Transfer case fluid change

Got an 02 lariat, not sure if it matters but it has the 4r70w transmission with the borg transfer case. Decided to do a fluid change when I was changing out the output shaft seal, it was a little overfilled but I put in 2 quarts of mercon lv. Of course right after I’m done I see a few forums stating not to use mercon lv. Should I go ahead and order a different fluid for the t case or is the Mercon lv fine? Truck has about 196k on it.

I know that (lv) is correct for 11th gens, assume it is for yours too.

it got confusing because Mercon in both names and because at one point MC made a bottle labeled “transfer case fluid”, which they dont anymore (believe lv simply superseded/replaced it).

What does your manual say?
