Question trans fluid change question.

Just picked up my f150 last week. she is currently at 125k . according to service records that came with the truck , the fluid and filter was last changed at 59k .

So is it a good or bad idea to do it again now? i have heard many opinions on changing fluid and filter but nothing really on the f150 .

thanks

I'm no mechanic but I would do a complete change including dropping the pan and changing the filter. Make sure you look at the magnet to see how much metal has been collected. I know what your concern is ..... if it has been way too long changing it may cause issues. If you are really concerned take it to the dealership or transmission specialty shop.
