Train horn problems.
I bought an 04 f150 XLT. it came with a train horn. When I try to sound my horn I hear a grinding noise. Wiring not frayed. Installed correctly. Could it be a grounded compressor. It came with two installed train horns and two compressors. No kinks or clogged lines either. Please help. I want this to work.

I have two Auto - Lite electric trumpets (Dated 6-47, 18" & 24") that came off of a 1966 Dodge bread truck. Don't know what they actually came off of. Wife absolutely hates them. But they work great.
It's been a year but, it's cool that you've got those vintage Auto-Lite electric trumpets from a '66 Dodge bread truck! Even if the wife isn't a fan, it's awesome that they're working like a charm. If you're ever considering a different vibe, maybe check out this Milwaukee Train Horn from Boss Horns https://bosshorn.com/products/milwaukee-train-horn - could be a fun way to mix things up!
