Default Too much engine oil?

Changing the engine oil on my 2015 5.0L and realized I put in 7.7 L instead of the suggested 7.3L on the manual, can the extra 0.4L cause any damage and should I try to remove it or is it all good?

Cheers

you are only 5% over recommended, would think you’ll be fine. But I’d check your oil first thing in morning (before startup) and see if you are within crosshatch area on stick.

I'd be concerned if you added like 10L. Even if you said 8, I wouldn't be worried about it.

If you do not see foaming or bubbles on your dipstick after running, you will be fine. If you see that, I would drain the excess.
