Default Throttle response/take off

I sometimes have to really get on the gas to get up and go...how do I know where to start to see where the solution might be...

Is it a Farmall or a John Deere, it does make a difference.

My 5.4 was getting "sluggish" …..

Every super duty I've driven with a 5.4 wasnt fast. But had adequate torque for pulling. I've driven some V10 f250s too. One was donald j's 2004 f250 xlt super crew. They run good and are pretty quick for their size. Donald j babies his besides when he pulls his 38' fifth wheel camper. He had a 6.0 chevy before but it just didnt handle it well. The V10 f250 blows that 6.0 out of the water. In pulling especially

I never had any complaints on the Super Duty with the 5.4, it was a great truck for 13 yrs and 113,000 miles.
I would still be driving it if the body didn't rust out....
But when I switched to the F-150 with the Coyote 5.0 it was like driving a muscle car compared to the Super Duty !

If I recall correctly, 1700 lbs lighter.... and close to a 115 more horsepower too !

Vroom Vroom !!
