I don't see how a lack of spark from bad coils could cause a lean condition. My "System Too Lean" (banks 1 & 2) troubles were cured by pouring a can og SeaFoam in the gas tank. Apparently I had clogged injectors (which would certainly reduce fuel flow beyond what the computer could compensate for by lengthening the amount of time the injectors are open). Anyway, one treatment and a full tank was all it needed and the "Service Engine Soon" light went out on it's own. Maybe this will help you with one of your troubles. I sure hope you make time for that cruise control recall soon...it's a fire hazard even if the truck is parked and not running. Good luck.

Hey Hiddnen, how's it going with the wipers, washer fluid sprayer, and windows? Was it fuses or relay?

Your lean code will come back in about a year if you don't tune the truck for the aftermarket stuff.

I'm aware that the new computers on Mustangs (and probably all new Fords) won't compensate for Cold Air Intakes and some other mods, but thought I'd read that OBD II will allow for CAI kits and exhaust mods, even cam changes. Do I need a programmer if I've only chaged the first two things?
Thanks.

ya turns out the for some reason the 5amp fuse wouldnt hold it and a 10 will. so all of them work correctly now, and somehow with the fuse working the shifter is working wonderfully as well. also my main problem was that one of my coils were out... so 80 buxs and a new coil pack im off and running. most of the actual rattle was coming from my exhaust breaking the weld... so thats getting fixed this week, and bank lean one 1 and 2 has something to do with pcv hose. should be like 40 buxs... but off and going!

thanx for the help eveyrone... sorry to hijack the thread also!
