Stiff steering wheel

I just installed a 2.5" levelling kit under my 07 f150 fx4, now the steering is stiffi also replaced pads on the front. The old ones were hard to get out and hard to get the new ones in. Any ideas?

Stiff like you have no power steering, or stiff like the steering wheel is locked?

No power steering is fine, but when I turn, the wheel stays in place, doesn't return like before.
