Default Starting troubles

Thanks everyone for the help on this!
my 2007 screw 5.4L has 93k and has started having some weird starting sequences. It seems like the engine is stopping in the same spot as it should, so it's not making that all familiar turning over/ cranking sound. Sometimes it sounds like it's starting half way in the middle of running if that makes any sense. The best way I can describe it is like a press that isn't stopping at the top for you machining folks out there. Would that at all be related to the camshaft position sensor? Thanks! Also, it has a new FPDM and fuel filter.

Anybody in the low country-- i also have a fram fuel filter for free, if you have a late model 2007, you may actually need to get the 2006 fuel filter. differen't size fuel line. check before you buy!

Check for loose starter mounting bolts/nut. The starter Bendix gear may be binding on the starter ring gear. Suggest you loosen all of these mounting fasteners and wiggle the starter motor, then re-torque the fasteners.
