Own a Ford F150 Crew Cab body/F350 gas engine and have owned it problem-free for two years.

Developed a starting issue over the past month. At first, it seemed the truck would not start in a heavy rain only. Once it started, truck ran beautifully.

Over the past week, it has been humid but even on a cold start it will make a very slow starting then die out. If, however, I tap the gas pedal, it starts right up. Again, rides beautifully once started.

My mechanic of 13 years who also did the engine swap before I bought the truck has not been able to replicate the problem.

The only other issue - which may be completely unrelated - is that I had the airbag light go on a year ago and found out about the airbag recall. I brought it to a local dealer and they stated they fixed it as well as the brake vacuum recall. Two days later, the airbag light went on again. It intermittently goes off and on but I have not taken care of it due to thyroid cancer surgery for me and then the death of my father.

Anyone with ideas please let me know; I really love the truck and need a dependable vehicle right now.
