I have a 2013 F150 EcoBoost and it has this weird squealing sound kind of oscillating when it's under acceleration and I can feel a slight shutter in the steering wheel in the check engine light will start to Blink if I back off the engine check light will go off. It was misfiring on cylinder one. I took it to my local Ford dealer and they said I needed new coil packs and plugs which I just did that myself 1400 miles prior to taking it in. They said since I didn't use Motorcraft plugs and I used what they called second run coil packs which I didn't know there was a thing because it was sealed in Ford Motorcraft bags but I went ahead and let them do the work all over again and 10 minutes after I left the dealership it started misfiring on cylinder one again and I lost power on the interstate. I took the truck back to the dealer which they couldn't get me back in for another 2 weeks and they said it was dumping boost from what their computer showed and they said they replaced a hose but I don't remember what it was called and they said they also checked the blow off valve and they said it was not the turbo which when I went to pick the truck up they didn't charge me any extra work so I don't really think they checked it and they were washing their hands of the truck because they make more money on all of the other customers coming in instead of trying to diagnose and troubleshoot my vehicle. I will never take my truck back to that particular dealer service center and I definitely won't buy anymore vehicles from them. I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing something like this. the truck drives perfectly fine until you start giving it some throttle and it makes that whistling sound oscillating and it sounds like it's coming from the left side of the engine bay and it will lose power. I have a video of it with the audio. It almost sounds like a belt. Any help would be appreciated.
