Hi i'm new here, i just got a 1996 f-150 and i noticed the spedometer is intermittent. When i drive it indicate the right speed then for no reason it drops to 0km/h then comes back up to what ever speed im going. Has anyone ever had the same issue or knows what i should do about it?

 

Check speed sensor connection. It's on the top of rear differential

 

If this is a digital speedo, there is a thread about a bad solder joint in the cluster. A real good step by step as to the repair. If in fact it is digital, get back and I will hunt for it.
