Default Slipping trans

Just bought a 2016 xlt sport 4x4. Drove it today and trans would barely move in reverse or drive. Barely got to move but seemed to be slipping.thoughts?

Your post is extremely vague..

Check the fluid level..Unless the filter is loaded up or fluid level is low, it's overhaul time.

Agree, have pan pulled to see what is happening inside of the trans. If clutch plate dust/metal pieces are in it you are probably looking at a rebuild or used trans.
If it is clean looking fluid, and you have not been driving around while it has been slipping it might be salvageable. Possible the trans filter is clogged.
