Default Slip yoke clunk

i know there have been many posts on the drive shaft slip yoke "greasing". Any way my question is, does the Ford grease help any more then regular grease that seems to last only 3000 mile then I have to re grease. Or what will fix the slip yoke clunk for good?

A new yoke. When the nickel plating gets worn off the splines, they start dragging on the output shaft. If cleaning/greasing were done annually since new, there would probably never be an issue with this.

Is there a link or video that shows "How-To" grease a slip-yoke for a 2005 F150?

Lately, I've been pulling some very heavy trailers.

Guys,
Speaking strictly of the driveshaft slip yoke back on the two-piece driveshaft, not the transmission yoke.
Don't use the Ford Teflon grease, it is too lightweight and they don't give you enough. You don't need to get a new yoke unless it is extremely worn. Pull the rear slip yoke, clean it and the inside splines of the neck that it slides into and regrease it with a heavy bodied grease, such as oilfield plug valve grease (which is designed to withstand pipeline pressures of up to 10,000 psi). I used it on my F-150 and have done two other pickups over the past 15 years with this lube and never had to do it again in any of them. The grease I use comes from Lubrication Systems, Inc. in Odessa,TX and is listed as LSI-1650 Synthetic Lubricant. It flat works and I guarantee that you will never have to pull the yoke again. The only other thing you will need is a couple of clamps for the rubber seal. If you want some info on this call me at 432-425-5978.
John
