Shuddering while warming up
Hi All,
I have a '13 F-150 STX extended cab with 5.0L 4x4 drivetrain; purchased new in December '13. The truck is by and large great - hauls, pulls, drives well. One thing I've noticed and would like to know if anyone else has experienced it.
After a cold, or first of the morning, start (60'F and below, not arctic, and too early in the year to have a morning start above 65'F) the truck seems to "shudder" at light load or coasting. It almost feels like its missing, but I don't have any fault codes and believe OBD would catch a mis-fire. I haven't noticed the same after it gets warmed up.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so, how did you resolve it? Or is anyone aware of a known issue related to this?
As always, thanks.
